How to File a PIA Request
Identify What You Want
Be specific about the documents, dates, and topics you're requesting.
Submit in Writing
Send your request by email, mail, or through the city's online portal.
Wait for Response
The city has 10 business days to respond, acknowledge, or request clarification.
Appeal if Needed
If denied, you can appeal to the Texas Attorney General's Office.
